Alena Vasilenko Alena Vasilenko graduated from Kiev State School of Law specializing in Financial Law. Ms. Vasilenko also holds a diploma in accounting. Before she received her law degree she worked as a Paralegal and subsequently, upon graduation, continued her career as an Attorney with RULG. From 2005 to 2008, Ms. Vasilenko served as the Director of RULG. Ms. Vasilenko is currently Senior Counsel and since 2008, Head of Practice for RULG. Her primary scope of practice includes corporate, commercial and civil law, licensing, tax and currency regulations, project finance, personal data protection, anticorruption and compliance. Ms. Vasilenko has a special expertise in the energy and oil & gas sector and is a member of our Energy Team. Her principal focus in regulatory issues is FMCG, healthcare and pharmaceuticals. Ms. Vasilenko is fluent in Ukrainian, Russian, and English.
