Vadim Dmitriev
Vadim Dmitriev graduated from Moscow State Legal Academy and has more than 15 years of experience as a lawyer in different Ukrainian and Russian companies. Within the last ten years he has served as in-house counsel for Lukoil in both Moscow and Kiev. Mr. Dmitriev's activities at Lukoil included preparation and legal examination of transactional documents pertaining to the sale-and-purchase of crude oil and oil products; subsoil use (including Production Sharing Agreements) in Russia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, and Iraq; transportation of crude oil through Russian and foreign pipeline systems (including legal support of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium); attraction of credits from large Russian and foreign banks; and transactions involving placement and disposal of securities. He participated in the conclusion and execution of several Production Sharing Agreements, including "Northern Territories" and "Kharyaginskoe" (Russian Federation); "Karachaganak" and "Kumkol" (Kazakhstan); "Azery Chirag" (Azerbaijan); "Western Kurna" (Iraq). In Kiev, he served as Head of Lukoil-Ukraine's Legal Department. Mr. Dmitriev is fluent in Russian, Ukrainian, and English.
