Elena Teslia
Elena Teslia received her law degree from the Kiev State University School of Law, specializing in Corporate Law. Ms. Teslia practices in the areas of corporate law and M&A, securities, antimonopoly law, commercial transactions, privatization, real estate, and intellectual property law. Prior to joining RULG, Ms. Teslia worked as an Associate/Legal Counsel for several law firms in Ukraine, both national and international, where she advised clients on corporate matters, M&A, securities, residential investment, foreign investment, secured transactions, various commercial transactions, including precious metals deals, and also on some aspects of intellectual property and labor law; conducted due diligence of pharmaceutical firms, industrial companies and banks, including vendor due diligence; represented clients in negotiations; counseled and assisted clients in acquisition of targets; arranged for anti-monopoly filing, specifically, regarding concentration of large producers of mineral fertilizers; performed leadership functions and supervised work of teams of junior lawyers and staff. In 2004 Ms. Teslia received an LL.M. in U.S. Legal Studies from the University Of Connecticut School Of Law. Since 2006 Ms. Teslia has been admitted to Bar Association of Ukraine. Before starting her legal career, Ms Teslia received a graduate degree in English philology from the National Linguistics University of Kyiv. Ms. Teslia is fluent in Ukrainian, English, and Russian.
