Mr Madykov has been a lawyer at Kalikova & Associates Law Firm, Bishkek, since 2007. Before this he was a legal intern at Kalikova & Associates Law Firm. He has experience advising clients on various issues of Kyrgyz law, including on licensing, environmental, land use issues, project finance, safety, contracts, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures; prepare memoranda, contracts, legal opinions, draft due diligence reports and structure transactions. He has represented clients before government agencies and local partners; conducted analysis of draft legislation (law on subsoil, energy, public-private partnerships), and participated in the firm's promotion and networking events.

He is a member of the Association of Lawyers of Kyrgyzstan, the Mineral Resources Committee, International Business Council and the Expert Board of PPP and Investment Promotion Center. He has written the following publications: Protection of Private Property, Kyrgyzstan Reforms Program 2010 (Bishkek, December 2010); Kyrgyzstan Mining Industry: New Legislative Changes for Development. He graduated with an MA in Law (with Honours) from the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavonic University, Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan in 2007 and is currently studying for a PhD in Civil Law and Proceeding Department at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavonic University. He speaks Russian, English, and Kyrgyz
