Brief Details of Legal Experience

Jan Kohout is an attorney at law of the Czech Bar and PRK’s representative in the Chamber for Economic Relationships with the CIS region. In recent years, in addition to overseeing an intensive expansion of the Russian desk, Jan specializes in project financing, mergers and acquisitions and real estate legal relations. He also has significant experience with drafting commercial agreements and general commercial terms and conditions. Jan has advised numerous multinational investors in connection with mergers and acquisitions in the Czech Republic involving, in particular, real estate, intellectual property matters, trade licensing and antitrust law. His work entails cross-border and international issues related to corporate and financing matters.

Jan provides legal advice connected with the incorporation of companies in the Czech Republic as well as related issues, including data protection law, articles of association and other corporate internal regulations and shareholder agreements for numerous international and Czech investors and companies. Jan is fluent in Czech, English and Russian.
