Robert Małecki was born in 1960 and has a Master of Laws degree from the University of Warsaw (1985). He became a Member of the Bar of Warsaw in 1990. In 1992, he had an internship in France which was organised by the Paris Bar. Since 1995, he has participated in the works of the Bar in Warsaw.

In 1990 he took part in the parliamentary commission elaborating the Copyright Act.

Robert Małecki has a general business law practice. A substantial part of his activity is devoted to the legal assistance of foreign investment in Poland, in particular operations involving British, American, French and Polish capital. The principal areas of his activity are Commercial Law, including Mergers and Acquisitions, Insurance Law, Intellectual and Industrial Property, and Competition Law. He has wide experience in Media Law and Telecommunications Law.

His native language is Polish, but he also speaks English fluently, and knows French and  Russian.

Robert Małecki is a member of  the Board of Directors of the Commercial Law Center Foundation. He is also a member of the Competition Law Association, which belongs to the International League of Competition Law as well as an Honorary member of the Center of International Legal Studies (CLS) in Salzburg.
