Practice concentration
Partner and head of the Russia and CIS practice of NCTM, the largest Italian law firm with more than 300 lawyers and with offices in Milan, Rome, Verona, London and Brussels.

His practice is mainly concentrated in the areas of mergers & acquisitions, corporate transactions and commercial contracts, both domestic and international. He regularly represents purchasers and sellers in private mergers, acquisition investments in diverse industries and market segments.

• University of Naples (J.D., 1991) with degree dissertation on "The Soviet doctrine on rebus sic stantibus principle"
• University of Moscow, Faculty of National Economics (Visiting foreign student, 1989)
• City of London Polytechnic - UK (Certificate in export and maritime law, 1991)
• King’s College London, University of London (Master in international business law, LL.M., 1993, with scholarship granted by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office). Main focus area: international trade law, legal framework of East-West trade (Russia & CIS)
• Salzburg Seminar - Austria (Economies in transition – Eastern Europe, 1994, with scholarship granted
  by the Salzburg Seminar)

Professional experience

• Joined NCTM in 1995 and became partner in 2001
• Worked as visiting foreign lawyer at the laws firms of Theodore Goddard (now Addleshaw Goddard), London (August-September 1993) and Zeyen Beghin Feider (now Allen & Overy), Luxembourg (January-April 1994)
• Seconded as international lawyer at Simpson Thacher Bartlett, New York (March-December 2004)
